First off, we have so many Punisher Minifigures from TV Brand alone! We already had four highly similar Punisher Minifigures from the last TV Brand Daredevil Born Again set already.
Secondly, what makes this set of TV Minifigures interesting is that they created knockoffs of the official TLG designs, albeit slightly modified (like Scorpion’s/Spider-Man’s/Boomerang’s helmet or Tarantula not having a mask [in the preview at least] or Hulk using a midfig body [instead of the official Maxifig body].
If you’re a completionist, then that’s already 5 checked from the official Minifigures list (+ Hulk if you don’t care of the Maxifig body and the two non-super characters might not be in your wishlist too).
Though the highlight might be those Hand ninjas! There were also some comic-inspired The Hand Ninja minifigures from the last Daredevil Minifigures from XINH/GH, but these ones are directly inspired by Brand New Day, and I’m loving the hoods and heads that come with these so far.
I’m sure there will be more Spider-Man Brand New Day Minifigures incoming, and I just saw some from XINH/GH which I’ll post about afterward. Though, as much as I loved the movie, I hope we also get other Spider-Man or even Super Hero Minifigures that are unique designs instead of seeing the same characters from too many brands.
